They have four children: Kyle, married to Lexi, is an eminent domain attorney in Houston. Travis, married to Alexis, will be a construction law attorney in a year. Jillian, who is currently working in the family business, and Shane who is set to graduate with a Ranch Management degree has plans to join their business full time.
His day to day activities include overseeing their farming and ranching business, overseeing their commercial grain warehouses, being involved with the operations and management of Hlavinka Equipment Company as well as managing their land interest.
He is involved with various boards and organizations within his community. He currently serves on the Simonton Community Church Board of Trustees, also serves on the Texas Rice Producers Board.
His family enjoys spending as much time together as possible. They love to snow ski during the winter. During the summer there is a good possibility you can find them enjoying the lake. They enjoy traveling and hope to do more once Bonnie retires.
